Haw Creek Elementary First Grade create gingerbread boats!
Suzanne Hinesley, media coordinator at Haw Creek Elementary, worked with 1st grade students to explore buoyancy and create boats to carry their gingermen across water.

Oakley 1st Grade students are Coding :)
Tammy Rigsby is working with 1st grade students at Oakley with coding on Tynker. Students all over the county are exploring code this week as part of the Hour of Code Initiative.

Haw Creek gets 3D with Lego Wall!
Media coordinator Suzanne Hinesley let 5th grade students measure a wall in her media center and create a plan with needed materials and cost for a Lego Wall. Now all students have the opportunity to create in 3D on the wall.
