6th Graders Working with Green Screens

6th graders in Mrs. Willis's class at North Windy Ridge are making green screen videos. They have written memoirs and are working to record them with images related to their stories transitioning behind them. The future of these videos - a living memoir wall. Each student will have an image related to their memoir hanging on the classroom wall and with the help of Augmented Reality in the form of Aurasma the images, when scanned with a smart device, will come to life with the students' green screen videos.
Mrs. Willis plans to have them ready and on display for parents at the NWR open house. Way to go!

The Presentation Station, SMARTBoard and Mounted Data Projector, are up and ready for use at Woodfin Elementary Digital Lab! We are excited. Students can now have more engaging activities that all can participate in. Thank you Buncombe County Schools and the technicians for the installation!
