Green Screen Projects, QR Codes, and....Digital Scarecrows?

Highlights from the NB and Erwin Districts This Week

Students in Ms. Gillespie's 2nd grade class at Johnston Elementary have been working on a green screen project about wind. Notice the "fancy" iPad stand that worked perfectly.

 Students in Mrs. Stamey's 2nd grade class at North Buncombe Elementary have been working on with a green screen also to complete videos on famous Americans for their interactive time line. The videos will be linked to QR codes which will then be added to the time line displayed in the hall.
NBES also has a scarecrow contest going on in the media center and Mrs. Stamey's class created an amazing entry.

Sixth grade students at North Windy Ridge are solving real-world math problems and checking their answers via QR Codes.
